The duo coordinated in sleek black looks for the Tribeca Film Festival event held Wednesday at Hudson Yards.

Butler embodied the King of Rock and Roll in a suave black suit jacket layered over a silky dress shirt that he tucked into a pair of tapered trousers. He completed the look with shiny black dress shoes and a subtle gold necklace, and wore his hair swept to the side.

Gerber complemented his look in a navy top, black miniskirt, and matching leather blazer. She dressed down the ensemble with a pair of high socks and white sneakers, and accessorized with a green shoulder bag and black Ray-Ban sunglasses.

The two held hands as they entered the venue for the screening.

Butler and Gerber—who have been dating since December 2021—made their film festival debut in Cannes, where Elvis first premiered. The actor, who plays Elvis Presley in the film, walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet with Priscilla Presley and the rest of the movie's cast, including Tom Hanks. Gerber walked the carpet solo in a red halter-neck gown by Celine.

The Elvis cast and director Baz Luhrmann got a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival following the screening, with Presley congratulating Butler for honoring her late husband.

Following the premiere, Butler, Gerber, and other stars (Shakira, Ricky Martin, Sharon Stone) and festival attendees retired to the Elvis after-party hosted by Campari on the Côte d'Azur beach.
