The 40-year-old clearly enjoyed the gig judging by the videos he shared on video streaming app MyEye, which showed him singing along to the band's greatest hits from the crowd.

"Always always amazing. Thank you Marcus and the guys…" David wrote.

David is a big fan of the British group and previously posted photos from one of their shows in Hollywood in August. His eldest son Brooklyn shares his love of the band, and was lucky enough to go backstage at an intimate Mumford and Sons album preview show in March, where the group picked him up for an amusing photo.

The father-of-four has admitted he is "loving" his time back in London after a busy few months of travelling. David posted an Instagram photo of his four-year-old daughter Harper taking in the sunset while taking a ride through the park on her scooter on Tuesday, adding the caption: "Everyone loves a sunset but have you ever seen a cuter view than this one… Loving London."

David has been spending as much time as possible with his family as they gear up for Christmas, and even let their pet dog Olive in on the festivities as he shared a photo of the cocker spaniel dressed in a Christmas jumper on Monday.

While the whole family enjoys the lead up to Christmas, Romeo had news for his parents, telling them he wanted to give up football to pursue other dreams.

"The other day Romeo turned around to me and said he didn't want to play football anymore," David told the Christmas issue. "Part of me was devastated but part of me was relieved too. He's got other passions and I like that."
